先日、Googleのスマートスピーカー“Google Home”をレビューしたところですが、ついにスマートスピーカーの世界シェア圧倒的No.1のアマゾン“Echo（エコー）”の日本での発売が決定しました！！

Alexa（アレクサ）は、Googleアシスタントやsiriと同じく、クラウドベースの音声アシスタントです。音楽の再生やスケジュール、天気予報などを話しかけるだけで答えてくれます。

Echoの特徴として、“たとえ音楽が流れていても、雑音の中でも、離れたところからでも、7つのマイクでしっかりと音声を聞き取ります”とあるように、音声の聞き取り能力が高いことを売りにしています。

アメリカのEchoでは、アマゾンによる買い物が音声でできるという記事を読んだことがあるのですが、日本ではできないのでしょうか。気になるところです。

 

Google Homeのレビューでは、“まだまだ実用性は低いが未来を感じた”と書きましたが、Amazon Echoはどうなんでしょうか？
